Open Source or rather called OSS is a computer software that is available with universal or free license. The OSS is an initiative developed, sustained, distributed and updated with collaborative efforts of several professional developers working jointly across various locations across the world. The system followed in OSS is quite contrary to user centric or proprietary applications. OSS does not just limit itself to free access to source code, but also permits free redistribution in original or modified forms. Patches developed are sourced from various sources and whole system and application can be adapted to any group, environment, software and endeavors.
